How is there a Tekken Tabletop Game...?

The marketing around Tekken must be pretty bad, because I only stumbled across Tekken The Board Game by accident. At first, I thought it wasn’t official, having being crowdfunded. But no, it’s real!

According to Board Game Geek, it’s a game where two characters fight against each other on different stages. Basically the game, but in board format. Makes sense. The game uses cards in a strategy format, which can be used to form combos and mimic the Heat guage, which makes me think of Chain of Memories…Kinda.

The picture is of Kazuya and Lee, some of the minatures that come with the game. They look nice but I doubt I can buy one buy itself. I will keep an eye out!
